The Grill Station
Keep your raw and cooked food separate with the handy, durable Grill Station by Charcoal Companion, now available at Backyard Bash. It comes with two tubs, one labeled “RAW” that’s also great for marinating and one labeled “Cooked,” so that you can get your food to and from your grill with no mess and no cross-contamination. Each tub has a useful dry-erase surface, so that you can label with the date, type of food, etc.
You’ll also be able to tote along your tongs, thermometer and other tools, in the detachable side tray! I, personally, have a tendency to use my nice ceramic Pier1 dishes or other kitchenware to transport food to and from the grill. Not only do I have way too many chipped dishes, but it’s also hard to keep meat juices contained, especially with a 72 lb lab-border collie following my every move, and a 15 lb jack-rat terrier under my feet! I’m thinking from now on, I’ll be saving steps and dishes by taking my entire Grill Station out on the patio with me.
